My System Specs

Default Any thought on the Foxconn ELA?

A P45 with crossfire for 75$, what the catch?

Newegg.ca - Foxconn ELA LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

It's Foxconn and has a very, very odd layout

Seems like an alright value-class board though. I wouldn't expect world-records from it though. Should make for a good folding rig too with 3 PCIe slots.

I'm glad I got my Gigabyte 790X instead of the Foxconn 790GX.

Future support might be questionable, as it's beginning to look like Foxconn is shutting down their Quantum Force brand. And if you're looking to do any overclocking, I certainly wouldn't count on many other people to compare results and settings with.

Actually, when my first Bloodrage coughed, I had a new board in about two weeks, and it came out of the states. I was kind of surprised myself, actually.

Yeah, I bought the board through ewiz.com, and they handled the RMA process themselves. In hindsight, I hope they were able to pass the motherbrick on to Foxconn afterwards.

Looks rather impressive.

But appears to be impossible to OC unless you enjoy nightmares.
