Not to mention stability was tested by a quick prayer to god and hoping it posted, and then using the PC hoping it wouldnt crash, followed by some Doom/Unreal/Civ1/Civ2/Myst runs.

And iirc, ram ratios were almost non existant, bus speeds were either locked or scaled directly with processor overclock...

God. I'm amazed I never blew anything up back then BUT my CPU come to think of it.

How high did you get the shaders and memory?
I've gotten mine up to 760/1680/1280... maybe I'll see if I can get my core up a bit more.

Wow. Those are very high core speeds for a 275. I never heard of anyone getting 780 before. Actually, I never heard of a stable 760 either. Congrats.

The world record for highest overclock percent is 238% on a Phenom II 42 TWK because its essentially a hand picked 955, but with a stock clock of 2GHz. They managed to get it to 6758MHz: CPU-Z Validator 3.1. Besides the TWK (which is a little cheap since it has such a low stock clock) is 203% with a 1.4GHz Celeron M running at an amazing 4243MHz: CPU-Z Validator 3.1

Its in the sig down below

Looks like you got 20mhz more on the shader , and are behind 2mhz (4 effective) on the ram
