Hehe I was pretty proud of it.

I am actually working (running prime) this moment on a 2.66->3.4ghz OC, which would be my biggest if successful. Nothing for the big boys I'm sure, but I'm pretty conservative on the OC front. I have pushed the shaders pretty hard on some video cards I have though....

Yea, a bios mod that gives you a bit extra gpu volts, not much though. 1.21v from 1.18 stock.

I don't think you have an idea what it took to OC such a chip; I too had an old MMX166, and I managed 233Mhz back then on my trusty Abit board.

Then a few years later I hit 4.4Ghz using a 3.0C Northy and an Abit 3rd-Eye under water.

I think the only thing I ever got to do a 100%+ OC was a 939 3000+. I was close on an Opti 165 as well, 150Mhz short of 100%.

That was back when you had to mess with jumpers to OC. No noob bios settings, profiles, multiple forums to ask questions and research, etc. I tried 233mhz, but got bsods after running Age of Empires for a few mins....
