Overkill for a first-time clocker.

I found the Gigabyte easier to oc by simply raising the blck, without any other adjustments. But this is good to an extent, and once you have to play with the voltages to stabilize an oc, the Asus becomes the better choice.

I'm happy with my Gigabyte board.
First time overclocker when I built this rig and can get my i7 over 4GHz pretty easily.
If you don't need more than 6GB RAM maybe save some $$$ and get the ex58-ud3r.
