You can set up the VMware or the Windows SMP so that it'll fold by itself. If the computer's running Windows XP, you can set up the Windows SMP client as a service so it'll run by itself in the background.

Yeah i know all about the VMware client, just load it and it goes, i was planning on doing that since she'll be more easily able to close it when she needs the processor. So it looks like 100% she'll fold the e6400 in her computer whenever i get the chance to have her over and do the swap, and well have a heat sink to put on it, lol

Alright, so the day of installing the CPU and OCing it is going to be tomorrow. Now i have not OC'ed a cpu in a while and i was wondering is it just the vcore and ram voltages i should be mainly looking at as i increase the multiplier as well (i know i should try to not touch the ram voltage as much as possible and try to get the best multiplier as well)

Its not more folding hardware, its my old system's cpu going into my g/f's as an upgrade (from e4400 to e6400) and going to OC it again and have it fold. I just wish i could use the x1900 all in wonder in her computer to fold, then i could catch up

I'll probably get to that later in august, though i'll want to keep HT so i can keep using 4 instances. Heat sink i'd buy if/when i get to it: NCIX.com - Buy Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus Direct Touch 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 AM3 LGA1366 LGA775 LGA1156 120MM - RR-B10-212P-GP In Canada.
