Smile Hello, my OC results

Hey guys, I read your forum and decided to give E2140 a try. What a great OC it was.

I am able to run the E2140 on STOCK COOLING, and STOCK VOLTAGE at 3.0 ghz. Core Temperature seems to stablize at 66C running at 100% using DVD Shrink. I have not tried orthos, don't know where to download it. But I think I'll run it once my Scythe infinity gets here.

Board: Abit IP35-E ($55 USD after rebate)
Mem: Crucial Ballistix ($65 USD after rebate) running at 5-5-5-15-29
Running at PC2-936 (memory was tested stable at PC2-1160 with CPU running at 2.32 ghz)
PSU: Cooler Master Extreme Power 550W ($0 USD after rebate)
Case: Cooler Master Centurion 532 ($30 USD after rebate)
CPU: E2140 ($55 USD)

I got a mini budget power house

Prime95 Download - Softpedia

Try this. Easy to use and works like a charm.

cool thanks alot. I'll try it. By the way, I just increased my memory divider to 1:1.5, and voltage to 2.3V

So now the RAM is running at DDR2-1124 and passed the mem86 test.

5-5-5-15-29 timing at DDR2-1124 for a pair of crucial ballistix pc6400

My superPI for 2M is 47 seconds

Oh yea, my computer doesn't have an exhaust fan, lol. But I can barely feel any heat.

71C is the limit and I would personally try to keep it under 65c. I realize that you probably will not reach these temps very often, if at all under normal usage, but the thermal envolpe developed by Intel must be there for a reason.

Also if you really want to see what kind of temps your Q66 is capable of run this...

Intel TAT - Overclock.net - Overclocking.net

Crazy load temps....
