Sorry I didn't have a chance to get back to you earlier, been working nights and it's been fairly busy....

Here's two different sets of mem both at high(er) clocks with loose timings vice lower clocks / tight.

Supertalent PC 6400 (binned for 4-4-3-8)

VDIMM - 2.3 (that's what they used on their site to get the 4-4-3-8)

FSB - 356
CPU multi - 9
Current Dram speed - 1070
DRAM speed setting - 800
NB strap - Default (still haven't played enough with this)

Both of these settings are 24/7 folding stable & minimum 8 hours orthos.

The tRFC of 38+ seemed to be one of the most critical settings for getting it to boot at higher clock speeds.

Good luck!!!! (Did you DL the mem worksheet from the other thread?)

Thanx for the reply and the timmings, mine was more or less the same, but I am gonna return mine, as they can only go to 950mhz no matter how loose I make the timings..

I am thinking of getting a pair of these: GeIL Ultra 2Gb DDR2 PC2-8000 4-4-4-12 Dual Channel Kit.

Also, what would be the best cooler for this setup..?

CPU cooler?

I'm running stock intel ATM, but had it under water while it was in the case.

What's your price range?

Should fit fine, and would certainly be better than stock.

Just played with the Dark's bios and found the NB Strap setting, setting this to 266 forces the minimum fsb to 266 which makes this cpu start at 2.4 (I think).

So after seeing this, I got the PC to boot into windows at 1.4V and still going stable...

Temps are 32'C - 33'C idle

Finaly got my new Ram from tekheads...

They are selling them as TekValue 2gb Dual Channel DDR1066 5-7-7-22 modules...

As I am always the optimist, I decided to get a pair of these...

Sticker on the module says "M Ram", never heard of it, but I am currently at DDR1000 4-4-4-10 @2.2V and 1 hour orthos stable. Realy not bad for 65.00
