Default New motherboard

I am needing a good overclocking board for my Q9550. I would like one that has SLI, but looking on my own, they are nearly twice as much. I was thinking of getting an ASUS P5Q-Pro Turbo and two 4890's - ATI seems cheaper anyways, and still pretty nice.

Please help me find a mobo (im pissed right now and typing like an idiot because my 4870X2 died... not even one month old - it bent)

GA EP45-UD3P is one of the very best quad-core(overclocking) mobos. Sorry...no SLI though. I ordered mine...got it Monday...but DOA. Its being RMAd now.

Edit: I have the Q9550 as well.

Hm... Would that thing take single Nvidia cards? I know that it wont SLI, but how about one? Also, if I do crossfire, does it go x16/x8, or x8/x8

Yes...all the chipsets will run Nvidia or ATi cards, in single-mode. P45 chipset gives PCIe 2.0 -16x for single and x16/x8 for Crossfire.

Hm... the ASUS Rampage Extreme can be price matched for $200, but its also DDR3. Is DDR3 even worth it when running a Q9550?
