Default Asrock

ASRock A790GX/128M

Any opinions on this motherboard? Seems to be a good choice for unlocking cores on X2550 BE.

Don't base your purchase on unlocking the cores since it's not a guaranty, it's more of a extra if it work and for the board, there are nicer board for a little more like the Gigabyte 790GX.

ive got a gigabyte GX board and i wouldnt get rid of it ever. Rock solid performer and built like a tonka toy. You will know where the extra 35$ went once you start playing with it.

Gigabyte all the way. On my Second one now, and sometimes paying the extra premium is well worth it.

I'm running an ASRock and haven't had any problems, with some nice features too, it was worth more than what I paid.
