Default GIGABYTE P55 & Second-Gen X58 Motherboards Revealed

Hey everyone,

During our time in Taiwan we had a chance to take a closer look at GIGABYTE's upcoming motherboard lineup and we have some great shots of their Intel P55 Express and second-generation X58 Express motherboards, as well as some other goodies.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask

well no body knows how much those will cost, and even at the last minute the retailers can jack up or lower the price depending on the availability/popularity at launch.

But like all other technologies price will drop in time.

anyways back to the news :)

Thank you for the preview

If I had that info I would be sure to share it, but no one but Intel and the mobo manufacturers know those details, and they are certainly not set in stone yet.

I'd just like to totally say "I told you so" when I mentioned a week or two ago the possibility of motherboard manufacturers integrating some sort of onboard flash memory as a hard drive. I think i hit the nail on the head, considering Giga's new ONFI system. Am I allowed to be slightly arrogant now? lol..... In all seriousness though.., my next motherboard will be a Gigabyte for sure if the ONFI system works as claimed. hehe

Edit:
Ha ha! One week ago exactly! Although I was wrong about the form factor thing, lol. Not bad considering I have almost no insider information at all, lol.

I love that sneak peek. I find myself all of a sudden wanting to grab a Gigabyte...

Thanks for the info

I want to upgrade my mobo in a couple months, and really wanted to stay with Gigabyte.
Now I definately will... though I'm not a huge fan of their colour scheme.

Gigabyte hasn't exactly been known for sexy boards haha. But I do like that the colours have been muted, so at least there is some improvemement in that area.

Can't wait for the DFI LP DK P55s, I must say the Biostar one looked quite nice on the Computex pictures.
