My System Specs

Default Help me choose CPU's
I have the following

Q6600
9950 BE
9850 BE
E8400
QX6850

Curious which 3 I should be keeping for gaming/folding etc...

Comp2 (Wife's) : Intel DP67BG, i7 2600K, 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1866, 1TB HD, 2TB HD, Sapphire 7950 OC, Corsair 950W, HAF 922

Comp3 (Kids) : ASUS P8P67 Pro, i7 2700K, 8GB 1866 GSkill, Sapphire 7970, Crucial M4 120GB, OCZ Vertex3 240GB,1TB WD Black, Antec 850W, Antec 1200

E8400 for gaming, Qx for folding or gaming, and the Q6600. the AMD phenom Is are garbage.

heh, yeah use the phenom's as hand-me-down builds for friend/family machines. VMware a couple cores for folding while your relatives are surfing the interwebs on the remaining two. ;)

you mean folding at home where computers are used to find cures for diseases?

Keep the Intel stuff, ditch the AMD stuff.

If your looking at making profits, then I'd sell the QX6850. The AMDs aren't really worth selling IMO since you won't get much money and I don't think many people would want them either.

My first step would be to get rid of the 9850 and the 9950. The Phenom I cpu wasn't very good, those are weakest items on your list.

I need to see if someone wants that QX6850 lol I heard I might be better off with a Q9550 is this true?
