AMD 6000+ or AMD Athlon X2 7750

I have the 6000+ in my pc now and I have enough funds to move to a 7750.I do a lot of gaming.is it worth it?
My 6000+(Brisbane Core) runs @ 3.1 gig stock,
And this is the 7750 I"m looking at,

If you already have the 6000+ I wouldn't bother with the upgrade. From the reviews I've seen, the perform similarly and achieve similar overclocks with the 7750 slightly ahead. I think i'd be better to put that money into either saving for an entirely new computer, or getting a graphics card (or beer and hookers!).

I agree with this. They are really too similar to consider an upgrade - this chart will show you, they are quite similar in expected performance: PassMark CPU Benchmarks - Common CPU's

Take a look at a phenom II triple core. It's your best bang for your buck, if your board can handle it, for a gaming rig. If u'r board can take x4 940BE$229+freeship,x3 720BE+$169freeship or x3 710(locked multi but still overclocks) $144+freeship. I went from x2 5600 2MB L2 to that x2 6000 overclocked it to 3.4 and it still choked out a 9800gtx+ and of coarse GTX280 an 8800gts640MB didn't get bottlenecked but anything over that seems to get choked by the x2 6000 bris. No point moving to another x2 budget cpu.
