So I'm ordering the non-NF200. I'd rather not deal with it. Plus, it's cheaper for a potential performance increase. What's not to love?

Thanks for the help, all.

(Sorry about the hyperventilation thing, there. )

did a small session tonight that was suppose to be for testing memory - which didn't work out - so plan B was to get some clocks settled for a 9800GT SLI run on LN2, well that didn't work out as i insulated the wrong slot on the Classified and the card wasn't being recognized. soooo, plan C was to run some 06 and get the GTX 295 running at high CPU clocks. there was a small issue when Bojangles and i tried a few days ago. needless to say...i got it sorted

good for 6th globally for single card 06 at HWBot, and so close to a global top 5. here is the ORB link...

ORB - Compare

and the screen shot...

so it just goes to show, when things go terribly wrong, you can still get something accomplished if you have a long enough list of stuff to do

Okay 3oh6 you talked me into joining this obviously exemplary forum , as well as purchasing the non-NF200 Classified. It arrived yesterday much to my wife's chagrin. I am expecting an i920 and a kit of RAM in a week or so. Hopefully you can give me a few pointers when I get it up and running? :help:

Which version of the GTX 295 has the GPU default clock at 594MHz?

sounds good...you know the thread to come to when you get it all running

this is just a plain EVGA GTX 295, not their + version.

NCIX got a good deal on the NF200 version of the Classified, 920 D0 and Corsair Dominator 1600 right now. I'm close to ordering it NF200 chip or not... but If I didn't see this trend it would be alittle easier. Damn small print

NCIX.com - Buy NCIX Gaming Bundle Intel Core i7 920 EVGA Classified X58 SLI Motherboard 6GB Corsair Dominator RAM - Classified-920-6GB In Canada.

Thats an extremely good deal!! Considering that Mobo is around $530 and that RAM was $289 only a few months ago!
