Intel just licenced sli from nvidia.

IMO, there is next to zero point of the 3 PCI-E 16x slots then. Heck, cut down on the cost by getting rid of two.

Those SLI hack drivers might work, I ran SLI on a 965 chipset board (DQ6) for a while. worked fine. Stock 7800GTX SLI:

its for Dual graphic cards setup + 1 video card for physics

the sort of thing that us Normal people might never get
