I had 3 G0's that were nothing to sneeze at...and a B3 that beat them all, doing 4ghz.

SKYMTL's got the straight story...luck of the draw. D0 might have increased TJmax, and if this is the case, I'd be staying FAR AWAY from these chips.

Increased TJmax helps noone, other than INtel's binning process.

i wouldn't discount the D0 just yet. like others have said, it will be luck of the draw as some batch's don't seem to be as good as good C0/c1's...but...these 3845Bxxx's are pretty much all very solid. single 32M on air with normal ambients has already cracked 4.7GHz...on AIR - link - batch 3845B109 BTW. i just grabbed a 3845B026 from across the street...second boot and it has already made both of the 965's i've had look like horse meat...

4GHz - 1.184v (under load) - 763MHz 8-8-8 - 3627MHz uncore

of course it is just a few minutes of prime and the best c0/c1 batches can do this or close, but it is definitely far superior to the other chips i have tested. most important to me, however, is the uncore and memory clocking ability (aka IMC strength) so there is plenty of testing ahead, but i am quite optimistic at this point. hot as hell too which is always a good sign for sub zero cooling...it means it can handle high current :D

Just ordered my i7 920 from DC. They were Out of stock for 2 days and received their new arrivals. Maybe i'll receive a D0, who know? I'll post results.

Just got my i7 from DC today. As expected they don't have D0 yet. Received C0 batch # 3837b760. will post results.
