Default Finally in stock: Asus Rampage II Gene (mATX X58)

A little bit of competition for DFI doesn't hurt... this mobo is only a bit more expensive, but makes up for it in looks.

I've been waiting for a few weeks to buy one of these -- it's going into my H2GO, so stay tuned for the worklog :)

While many mATX boards don't OC very well, and offer less "options" than their ATX/EATX counterparts, Asus has done a great job recently on these smaller boards.

I built a PC for my mom: Asus P5E-VM HDMI mATX w/ Intel Q6600. While testing, I managed to get it up to 3.9Ghz. I'm hoping this Gene badboy can net me similar (or maybe for $300+ I should say "better") results.

If one would like to use this uATX with a dual video card setup, what would be recommended? I'm asking for I know a few good video cards have massive heatsinks on them. Doesn't matter if it is ATI or nVidia.

It supports 2 video cards, but by running 2 cards you will no longer have access to the PCI-E4 of PCI slots...

You can run ATI or nVidia -- the board supports SLI and Xfire.
