I'm downloading the manual right now to check the bios section, but it doesn't look good for that board as far as overclocking is concerned. It doesn't list any overclocking capabilities and since it's a mAtx board based on the 6100 series onboard vid chipset I suspect that wasn't an oversight on their part.

ECS Web Site

The only 6100 series chipset mobo I've had experience with that has any overclocking abilities is the Asrock S939 board.

Is there a reason why you're looking at this particular board? If you're planning on gaming, you won't get very far with on-board vid, and if you're planning on using a stand alone vid card, there have got to be better choices of mobos to use.

I stand corrected.

According to the manual there are two settings for cpu overclocking (freq, & voltage).

Nothing indicates what the limits of those settings are so I wouldn't expect too much.

I found this review and it's a good board but it wasn't built for overclocking according to the review.

3dGameMan.com - #709 - ECS C51GM-M AM2 Motherboard

It would make a good board for a HTPC.

Direct Canada - $62.97

Some people don't and it doesn't suprise me. They feel and even SMELL cheap. ITs hard to trust a board like that!

Though my ECS experience was very possitive. On my 939 one, it fully supported an Opteron, which I didn't think it would. Then, my s754 board fully supported and recognized my Turion, which I couldn't believe. I had the same mobo mentioned here, but the OC was terrible.
