I'm guessing that's sarcasm? :P

Is the problem in the P5Q and P5Q Pro as well? Or is this only on the P5Q-E.

I highly doubt that my phrase could be interpreted any other way.:rtfm:

I do not know if it is problem on all P5Q boards.

Actually, I did a test on P5Q-E and I can tell that the problem is not as bad as I initially thought. Fan voltage stays at 7V untill CPU is loaded at 80% (MB temp goes up to 54-55 degreeC at that point, as case heats up with bad ventilation as fans are at 800-1000 RPM). Once CPU loads 80%, voltage jumps to 11V, 90% - 12V (ish). Of course, MB temp then drops to 50 degreeC.

So, MB temperature in Team Fortress 2 is 55 degreeC (load is at 30-40%) and only 51 degreeC in Intel Burnin Test (100% load) as two S-FLEX F fans pump air in and out at 1300-1600 RPM.

That's only if your fans are connected to the motherboard fan headers though right?

My Antec TriCool's are only connected via molex to my power supply, and I've got a Zalman 120mm that's connected to one motherboard header as well as my CPU fan (Noctua NF-P12)

I guess I could just disable it considering my P35-S3G doesn't have any function such as Q-Fan anyway.

Well, if my fans were not connected to MB then why would I discuss it in "CPU's and Motherbord" section?

Every motherboard out there has some kind of Q-Fan implementation, IMHO. Hopefully not as dumb as Asus.
