I agree with what pretty much everyone else says keep your board and just buy the upgrade parts for the i7 upgrade.

Heh. 10-0 Visually the 780i looks alot cooler, but I hardly look in my rig anymore, except when cleaning.. so that wont bother me.

Hopefully ncix gets my 4870 shipped tonight, so I can recieve it tomorrow and run it against the 9800 GTX+.


I was looking at getting another 4870 to crossfire, but after reading so articles, it appears crossfiring those cards, gives you a lower fps in most games, then just a single 4870.

I may have to consider selling all 3 cards, and getting an HD4870 X2

SICK. It just shipped!

NCIX has had some deals for an EVGA 790i with ram for less than that price, it's also less buggy than the 780i. I've had to RMA my board once. I'd go intel chipset either way if I had known.
