Alright guys,
I'm having some issue bumping my processor back to 2.66 GHz which I had with the M3A board. However, since it had no Phenom II support, I just ditched it for the M3A78-EM. However, my 4200+ can't even go back to the 2.66 GHz OC I had.
I'm stuck at 230 MHz base clock, I tried running my memory at 667 MHz, but I can't go past 233 MHz before it doesn't allow me to POST anymore. However, I need 242 MHz to achieve 2.66 GHz clock. My CPU multiplier is locked at 11x.
Is there something I did wrong? or missing? (btw, changing voltage did nothing).
I'm getting my Phenom II maybe by March, so in the meantime, I want to at least get my old clock back.
P.S: more of my system spec can be found here:
My Computer Specifications ... I'm trying to OC "blutyhoon".
Many thanks in advance,
