Default Hyperthreading Mode (Core i7 920) makes it run hotter

I overclocked the Core i7 920 to 3.94GHZ (turbo enabled).
I ran prime 95 for test and noticed that temperatures in the Core differ when hyperthreading is disabled. The cores run at least 10C cooler. I used Sensor Test, XS Bench in Real Temp 2.90 Beta and found that disabling hyper threading scored slightly better on XS Bench and seemed more stable on Sensor Test.
What do you think?
Thanks.

The temp difference is pretty well documented, I think. The i7 is able to use HT on the priming, which why you should be getting 8 loaded 'cores' in the task manager, hence the increase in temperature. Last I heard, I don't think IBT was able to do that yet, which is why Prime+HT enabled was actually able get slightly higher temps.
