Default Extra $72.00 should ia get a better mobo or CPU

Since I don't have to buy ram cause I found the ram I thought I had lost. I'm going to be saving $72.00 so should I buy a better motherboard or a better CPU. Now keep in mind I do have a 9600GT and I was only planning on OCing to 3.6GHz so I want something that my video card would not bottleneck.

The processor I was intending on buying was the E5200 I like this for the 12x multi and I'm not sure if there would a huge difference once this is overclocked with the E7200. How much difference does 1mb of cache make in games?

I could change my mobo decision. I was thinking about getting the Biostar TP43D2-A7. One of the reasons for this was the colour scheme. I'm going with an orange theme. But I've read some customer reviews and some have not had good luck. Plus I'm leary on the the fact you can only choose 10%/15%/20% for changing the vcore.

Opinions would be appreciated.

What's your list price on the motherboard you're looking at now? (I'm leaning towards a decent P45 chipset board if you can fit it in... ).

I'm biased, but I'd point you towards the P5Q Pro. Might have more features than you're looking for, but it's a pretty solid performer, and I haven't seen too many complaints about it. (It'd be a tough decision for me though... I'm a cache man myself.... :) ).

John, do you think that EP45-DS3L will do a 400 FSB as I'd probably run that at 400x9 to get it to 3.6 and then just run the memory at 800 for 1:1 ratio.

I don't see why it wouldn't since P35s can do that easily.

Yeah you're better off spending a few bucks more, for a better setup. That Gigabyte surely is a nice board.
