Alright, I finally have all my parts together. My 9600 GT was out of stock and I had to wait. Everything's here now, though. But I have a huge problem. I was having a few beers, and foolishly left my motherboard box on the floor next to my bed. My room is very cramped, and it's easy to trip and fall if you're not really careful. So, I tripped, and fell on the motherboard box. I opened it, and it seems one of the capacitors is bent, well, me being stupid, I bent it back into place.

NCIX won't take it back, as it's been too long since I've received it. And I'm not sure ASUS will replace it either if it has physical damage.

Basically, what I want to know is. Is it safe to test it with all my new parts? Or is there a risk of the components getting damaged?

thanks.

Is the capacitor actually dented, or was it just a matter of the leads bending? (Pics would help.... :) ).

If it was just a matter of the leads bending, and you've managed to prop it back up, just make sure the metal casing of the capacitor isn't in contact with anything on the board and you should be good to go.
