Talking First Build advice/suggestions, anything plz

Hi guys

long time reader. first post

i will get right to the point
im planning to run latest games on either 22" 1680 x 1050 or 24" 1920x1200 resolution
total budget $2000

Case: Coolermaster CM Stacker 830 E-ATX Black Aluminum Case 9X5.25 4X3.5INT No PS W/ 2X120MM Fan

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Dual Core Processor LGA775 3.0GHZ Wolfdale 1333FSB 6MB Retail

RAM: Mushkin XP PC2-8000 Redline 4GB 2X2GB DDR2-1000 CL5-5-5-12 240PIN Dual Channel Memory Kit

Video card: EVGA E-GEFORCE 8800GTS KO 678MHZ 512MB 1.94GHZ DDR3 PCI-E Dual DVI-I HDTV Out Video Card

not sure on HDDs yet
gata buy new monitor and keyboard + mouse as well

im planning to do 450 fsb with this build

any advice/suggestions
or just drop by and say hi to a newcomer

Good parts selection, especially on the case, PSU and CPU.

If you haven't bought your GPU, check the Hot Deals forum, apparently DC has a limited number of them on for $289 no MIR.

Did you have a look at the Gigabyte 8800GTS at NCIX http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...cture=Gigabyte ?

Not only is this card less expensive, but the version they're shipping is already clocked to 700!!! :)

I understand you might specifically want EVGA due to brand preference, but it's worth a look.

i have now

but i really like the 3months stepup from evga
also considering nvidia is releasing(? hopefully) new gt200 chip in july
