edit: yes 95% of time... 9800gx2 is slightly better than gtx280

but still very good for 289!!! ( compare to my evga gtx 260 ssc for 299)

i still worry about future... i might have to upgrade 9800 gx2 soon as new video card is out... i REALLY hope the value is not go down very steep...

The psu puts out 50amps on the 12v rail.
nVidia recommends minimum power supply with +12 volt current rating of 26 Amps.

You would not be able to run 2 of these cards.

A web sight I was reading today claimed the 4870x2 would probably surface around the $550 mark US.
As it will be the top dog for a while, I would not be surprised to see start out at $600-650 here in Canada. [/extreme speculation]
