The owner of the 'MurderMod' box is a member of these forums I do believe. 'FriedChicken'.

They are amazing machines, but they cost a lot. I'd rather do the work myself.

I have actually stolen a lot of ideas from the worklog posted on XS.

Hmmm I thought 1:1 or 2:1 is better than 4:1?

No. 1:1 would mean it doesn't shrink at all. 2:1 would shrink in size 100% after heating. 3:1 would shrink 200% of its size after heating. And 4:1 would shrink to 300% of its size after heating. Although AFAIK they don't make 4:1 dual-walled heat shrink, so 3:1 dual-walled would be the best choice IMO.

This is a 2:1 heatshrink.

If what you say about 3:1 being better than I'll be picking some up.

I bought mine from Cable Management and Wire Organizer Products from CableOrganizer.com

Shipping is ~$20 or so. I ended up buying $50 in heatshrink so I wouldn't have to buy it again. Adhesive heatshrink is impossible to find up here, so I had to buy online.
