I figured this wasnt so bad. The graphic card is crap but other than that, the processor, the 8gb memory and 1tb hdd is not so bad.

Not bad, free Windows 7 upgrade, something I'd recommend to wife's parents.

Refurbished though...3 months of warranty only.

And its a Phenom 1... Not sure I would think of it as such a good deal. When add up everything together: Refurbished, 90 days warranty, Phenom 1, 8gb RAM is probably too much.

Only thing I see going for that PC is the Blue Ray drive.

Statistically refurbished stuff is more reliable, because it's double tested and fixed.
