Its the actual x-box 360 controller (not the pc version). If you have an xbox-360 the transmitter is built into the console and the receiver in the controller. I believe it requires you already having a usb receiver if you want to use it with your computer.

Yeah that's what i thought too. It was meant for those who already owned a controller with a receiver who wanted extra controllers...
