I hate to ask: what's so special about these fans?

Same general specs and characteristics on a Nexus real Silent fan, but about a quarter the price.

I guess they'd be good for a project, but nothing else. The white blades look pretty cool. Other than that, they're loud for such a low CFM. I'd buy the Noctua's.

Then again, Noctua needs a colour change on some of them. When you put several of them in your case though it doesn't look half bad.

You're right, it's all bad . Sorry, I'll just never buy i fan or any accessory/part that shares the colors of things that wash up on shore twitching.

Great little Fans, but I am more in tune with ones that have the potential to push my case along the floor.

Price match accepted today at NCIX. 7 of them hehe. Basically I am ordering them because of the bearings. My Zalmans are sleeve bearing and were good for a year, but not much is left in them... And $3.68, how can you go wrong? Oh, the cables are pre-sleeved too...that saves me much time...
