OCZ Vertex & Intel X25-M Comparison. - Page 3 - XtremeSystems Forums

Take a look at the MFT benches. Vertex does pretty well, it isn't as high as the X25-M however it is a monster when it comes to random writes. The Vertex takes a huge lead though in random reads.

I was planning on doing some tests with Vertex + MFT installed on it to see how it does then, however the drive died.

EDIT: I may add that even though the Vertex isn't as good at random writes, it is still hundreds of times faster at them than a mechanical drive.
