Very cool. Thanks for the pics.

Which case did the child labour come with? I need an urchin to fetch and carry for me.

Would you mind taking a quick inside shot of the 1200? TYVM

as i figured.

1200 is only taller due to it being narrower... otherwise they'd be the same size

If thats the size of the 1200, I wonder what it would be like compared to the 300... Looks like a nice case though.

The 300 and 900 are almost exactly the same size: 18" (H) x 18.3" (D) x 8.1" (W) vs 19.4" (H) x 18.4" (D) x 8.1" (W). The 900 just offers a few more fancy bits like the cap on top with the huge fan (making it a touch taller) and a few more ventilation holes.

The specs on the Antec website say the 1200 is supposed to be slightly wider than the others: 22.9" (H) x 20.2" (D) x 8.4" (W).

side note.... I installed the inside 120mm fan inside the bracket. I then roughly measured the length of my 8800 GTX KO GPU and i am 99% sure I will be able to keep the fan installed on the inside with the GPU's installed. I was not able to do this with the 900 case, it would not fit for me.

I am measuring the 1200 to be 3/8" wider than the 900, all though you cant see it in the photos.

I am really liking this case. I can not wait to see it with the parts installed. Do you have enough drives to fill it up?

How much clearance is there between the bottom of the expansion card slots and the top of the power supply?

It looks as though there the will be more room between the second GPU and PSU. Although I cannot confirm this until I do the switch over. But if you have a good look at the photo, there seems to be a bigger gap between the top of the PSU cutout and where the PCI cover plates are... but like I said, I wont know until I do the switch..

and I only have 2 drives and a DVD drive to go into the case. Im thinking of placing them all together in the top (god willing the cables reach) and that would leave the bottom 3 free for air flow.

there is alot more room between the to........ a hell of alot more room. Also I can now install the 120mm fan on the rear of the hD case and the 8800 will fit. It would not on the 900. I'll post some photos tonight so you can see. 8 fans total. im almost done the change over.

The Antec 1200 looks so much better than the Antec 900. And its much bigger.
