Default Phanteks Eclipse P400S Case Review Comment Thread

Phanteks' Eclipse P400S is being launched into an extremely competitive budget case market and even with a price of just $70, it still manages to become one of the best ATX enclosures available.

"The top of the case supports dual 120mm and 140mm fans, but given the limited height of the P400S it's unlikely you would be able to fit a radiator up top."

This is disappointing. I like the look of this case and some of the design features but I do really like having the top rad option.

The HDD/SSD cage seems tricky to work with but wow what a case for $70!

While I wouldn't rush out to buy it, that's a very solid case at it's price point. I really like the LEDs off button, and honestly wish that was standard in every case. I had a couple Silverstones in the past that were damn near blinding. Too bad the paint doesn't match up 100% across the exterior, that's a blatant mistake IMO, especially when other cases that have a mix of metal and plastic panels can get the paint uniform across the different materials.

I am a bit curious as to what a matte white case would look like now though. With a nice matte white paint though, not a circa 1993 486 white-ish plastic that is.....
