Default Will The Real Fortress Please Stand Up?

Silverstone it is not. Meet the Jonsbo UMX2, the true successor of the FT02. All aluminum, two 120mm rotated intake fans at the bottom and a 140mm exhaust on top. Unfortunately the motherboard isn't rotated so the video card(s) seam likely to block airflow. I'm just guessing at how good it can handle SLI/CF as the review is in Chinese and I couldn't get what is being said even with a translator. Another weakness you can see from the photo is the inability to install tower coolers or long video cards without removing the side cage. Still I wish Silverstone had done something in this level. It is being sold in the US by Rosewill. Keep your eyes open for another Jonsbo case that isn't sold here yet, the W1 mitx.

It's certainly Purdy.... I'll definitely keep my eyes open for the mITX offering. (This one is apparently a full ATX case in a very small package).

So now we can bait the consumers into thinking it's a Mac Pro lol. I hope we'll have a review of this ;)

Looks NOTHING like a mac pro.

Looks like a grown up version of the prodigy.

Front Panel is almost the same, swap out Firewire with USB 3, the shape is almost the same, the brush metal is almost the same. Of course they're differences like the fact it doesn't weigh a ton, doesn't have the apple logo on it and doesn't charge a premium but you cannot say people are trying to hard to compare it to a Mac Pro when it has similarities.

Looks like air is blown directly on to the CPU tower cooler, which means rotating your CPU cooler 90degress from normal (or moving the fans around) for it to work properly and then the two bottom fans exhaust the GPU out the case. Honestly, I'm confused how this is a good design for the cooling configuration, even though it is a pretty looking case. If you aren't looking to pack high(er) end enthusiast hardware, this looks like a pretty good case otherwise.
