Default Cooler Master N200 mATX Case Review Comment Thread

Cooler Master's new N200 isn't an mATX case that exhibits anything particularly unique but its design fundamentals are well thought out and a price of just $49 will make it appealing to just about everyone.

Looking at it I though why would i buy that over say for example the Define Mini. Until I read the price. That's a great budget case.

Reminds me a bit of the fractal Core 1000 both in size and price, but this has WC capabilities and front controls (the core 1000 switches are on the side which limits access in tight spaces). Looks like a winner to me.

Is this case a 15mm or a 20mm spacing for AIO coolers? I can't seem to find that spec anywhere though the website seems to allude to 15mm spacing? trying to find out if the H100i GTX would work with it.

I have this case. Too little space for cable management. And although the 3.5 inch bay supports HDD and SSD mounting, the space is too limited to make it possible for the SATA cable to be properly plugged in. And the DVD-rom mounting would break the consistency of a mesh front panel, making it fugly to look at. Also, there is no filter on either the side or top vent, rendering it extremely dusty after a short while of use. And as it does not have sound dampering material, it is a lot louder than I would expect from a CM product. For this size and price, I would recommend CM Silencio 352, which has none of the weakness above. For myself, I am going to get a Define R5.
