This has become the most likely successor to my Switch 810.

But I am pleased with the cooling in the 810 for now. But who knows, I do get randomly bored and upgrade for no reason, randomly.

Thats tasty.

Agree with the i/o on the right, pretty much everyone I know (bar 1) has their machine on the right. That said it doesn't reall pose much more of a problem than left, fron or top positions (there is something wrong with them all)

I'd like to see more cases with more thought on the front i/o area. Hate having connections sticking out where they can get bashed, damaging either the device or port and then there is unsupported wires hanging (pet peeve of mine, most electronics of mine break from wear of the wire from flexing etc)

Personally I would love to see recessed USB & audio ports where there is enough room for any USB drive / connector but where the wire (obviously not for usb drives) will then have some support,
say something angled at approx 20 degrees down from the top of the case, recessed about 3"~ from the front with enough room around the USB ports to fit something like the Kingston HyperX USB drive (man it's fast but chunky)

An analogue fan controller and then the obvious power and re-set placed in an accessible but not interfered with position from the possible wires you will have plugged in
Maybe power on far right, reset on far left, large (ala 600t, scout) fan controller knob all set at a 30 -40 degree angle on the very top front edge.

More thought to the IO area and you could gain many more fans. there isn't really anyone trying anything good / interesting / even slightly new with front i/o options. (at least in my mind)
Hey.. what about a panel that you can fit to the front, top or either side.. All you need is some blanks in each position.

That is probably the only issue I have with this case unless reviews show that the silence measures mean that my i7 950 oc'd to 4.2 would melt my cooler :P (it's more of a space-heater than a computer... thank god the GPU is cool running)

Having worked in restrictive cases like the Lian Li V2000 where there was only one 120mm front intake fan that went straight to the bottom area, I can tell you that this shouldn't be a problem with temps.

Quick question.. can you fit a H100 (or better a 110) in the top of this WITH the pre-installed 200MM?

Bump. Anyone answer if you can fit a H100 in this WITH the 200mm top fan still in-place?

Yes, we are making a window for the case, but it is the Phantom 630 side panel. The H630 shares the Phantom 630 chassis.

Expect an announcement soon.
