mountain mods

Anyone ordered from these guys before?
Do ya have to worry about duty, any tips on things ya need ie ssd drive mounts 5.25 stuff things like that?
Basically after some one that has done this once or more.
Wanna add a couple RS360's into it and my present system idea

Or should I just grab a obsidian 900d when they are available here?

You're looking at quite the price difference between a MM case and the 900D...

To me the decision is simple: if you are buying a UFO or Ascension, then by all means, eat the cost of the Mountain Mods case and duty/delivery charges. It's the baddest case I've ever owned. Also check out the Caselabs options, they are even nicer IMO.

However, if you're looking at the Pinnacle or Monticle, don't waste your cash... the cookie-cutter Corsair-type cases are a fraction of the cost and just as effective for a simple water cooling setup.

So ya like yours, nice been looking at them for years now. The Corsair is like 370 cad, so is not cheap believe the MM was cheaper. Caselabs have seen them also, believe there like 500 or 600, was willing to spend 400 range idea little more if needed for a nice case, and acces, 600 little pricey though....

The UFO might be a good "cube" type case to start with... you can always add the pedestal later if needed.

Either way, all cases come with 1 or 2 HDD and optical drive mounting hardware. They will only ship UPS, so you will get dinged for duty... my case was ~$1200, and duty was ~$150.

Good luck.

ya that's the one was looking at, u2-ufo, 150 on 1200 not bad really then on the duty, be allot less on 400 for sure, believe that's the one I will get... Now to just finish playing with the flash configuration for the options.

Thx for the help Liu.

I'd highly suggest you look at Case Labs if you are are looking at those huge cases. Fit and finish on MM leaves a lot to be desired.

hadn't checked your link, sent him a pm, hope it will fit the eatx board g1sniper3 I have....

Agreed. The MM cases are very "industrial" and simple: straight aluminium, no grommets, etc.

That whole look is why I prefer the MM cases, but CaseLabs are definately better and more practical all around, especially if you are looking to simplify wire management.

wiring is what am concerned with now, bought the MM, ordered a few things for it will try to muddy my way through it, am not after a show piece by any means, just need to neaten it up idea.
