Please Recommend a Case for my Needs

I have somewhat narrowed it down to the Ultra Aluminus, Silverstone TJ03, Silverstone TJ05, Cooler Master Praetorian 730 and Lian Li V1100. But God I don't want to buy an Ultra....

I would go Lian-Li V1100. The MB tray isn't removable but it's got tons of room in there to work with and you can pull the power supply right out the back which would be a big benefit to you.

If you could find one of the old 60 series Lian-Li cases it sounds like it would fit the bill to a T.

Under 18" high, removable mobo tray, solid construction.

The only issue would seem to be your requirement for "no 80mm fans", but IMO the airflow in my case was more than adequate originally, and even more so with a 120mm mounted to the side.

The Lian Li looks interesting but does it come in.....BLACK and is the 19" including the wheels? Also, why does everything look upside down in the Lian Li?

hrm.. a roomy case and 20" tall. Sorry, but you might have to "give an inch" as it were . The only roomy ones i can find are usually no less than 21" tall.

Here is a cool suggestion for ya though, why dont ya chop the top off your sonata and hinge it so it opens like the hood of a car or something. I mean, if ya mod it right you'll have the "ease of use" your looking for, and im sure you can pull it off without it looking all ghetto and stuff.

It would be a cool little project, and it might save ya some cash in the end.

Because it is :P allows for supposedly "better and more efficient" cooling.

well, i just order a Silverstone TJ09 and it seems to be about the nicest case on the market. it performs well, is built well, and looks classy.
