stuck between two cases Looking for a case better for water cooling. I have been looking at Silverstone Temjin TJ07 as I have two rads 360 and 240. But then Fortress FT02 looks to be good with a 540 rad on the bottom. I like how the powersupply is mounted on the TJ07 vs Corsairs Obsidian 800D. I will be running 3 gpu's and cooling the cpu and no overclocking. |
I'd say the the temjin. Seems like the better case of the 2 and more mods for it as well |
Its realy your call, TJ07 has 180 deg mouting, ft02 has 90deg. FT02 wins hards down for cooling, triple 180 is more cooling area then 360 + 240 rads but you lack the selection thus your single rad might not be as efficient as the 2 other ones. |
Fortress for the bottom fans for your SLI,always heat at the heatpipes side of the cards, will blow it up to the top back fan.. |
I found a FT02 at memory express for $169.00. Best I could find is a white TJ07 $269.00 with $40.00 MIR at ncix. Save on shipping I guess. |

I've had a TJ07 for over 2 years, recently moved into a RV02 with a 3x180 Magicool rad. The TJ07 is a beautiful case with classic lines, and there's some nice mod parts available for it. Check coldzero.eu, he's a sponsor of mattlef's TJ07 build. |

Yes, silver not white. I did pick up the FT02 today locally. No window. I do not look at the case where it is now anyways. I am running a single 360 rad in a Cosmos S and temps are good. Looking at this case, there is rad mounts included. I may just mount the 360 vs removing the hard drive cage to fit a 540 rad. |
Wasting your time and money... Why run water if you don't plan to OC? |
