Default Standoffs Needed

Well I went to assemble my system today and I can't find my bag of standoffs. I think they got thrown out by the wife by accident. Does anyone know what size of standoffs comes with the CM690 case?

I think they are your standard little 6 or 7 mm ones. Geeze I have literally hundreds of standoffs of varios sizes, too bad your in Ottawa! I say just go to a local computer shop, they should be glad to give you 9 or so. I do it for my customers all the time.

I went to PC Cyber today and they said they didn't have any, so I'm I'm going to check with RB Computing tomorrow after work. Just sucks I have to wait another day to put this beast together.

Good good. Just got a new case? The CM690 is the best case under $200 in my opinion, and it is only $70! Wise choice

If you are _really_ desperate use a little plastic ring thing the same length as a standoff would provide and a longish screw with a nut.
Can be found at a local non-computer hardware store, it adds a bit of hassle but if it is an emergency situation then it works well enough.

That's a good idea. Or maybe 10 or more little felt washers haha. MacGuyver would approve

It is a great deal. I got mine for my B-Day(Apr.2)it was $68 from DC(that's el-cheapo case price )and i'm very impressed. They've thought of everything in this case... looks very good for cooling and cable-management. I just finished participating in ForumWars 08.. so now i'm throwing everything into my new case.

Stand-offs? Damn, if I would have known, I would have shipped a few with the E2140... RBC in Nepean, right? I haven't been there in a while... I used to drive from MTL on Friday evenings to make sure I had my parts before anyone else!
