Well I'm guessing Silverstone realized they weren't making enough profit as their cases were damn expensive and the typical "gamer" couldn't afford them. By using cheaper materials, they can target that market now.

Maybe not the wisest business move to us as we want high-quality cases, but I'm guessing it'll result in an increase in profits for them.

Perhaps they fired their designers during the recession and hired some teenage kids to design stuff instead. Who knows.

Thats exactly what it is. The price of alloys has gone through the roof and companies are looking towards alternatives if sales are sputtering.

The cases just look like a bigger version of the TJ08/PS07...

I'm not gonna lie, the layout works well for a smaller form factor, but they really should've stuck with the 90-degree orientation for their bigger cases.

I am disappoint

I just want an updated FT02 with better cable management and a few design niggles cleaned up. Is that too much to ask?

They set the bar pretty high with their previous cases. I think the critism is deserved this time. It's almost like they OCZ'd this round of cases.

I think the renovation really peaked at FT03 even if it wasn't the nicest looking case. FT04 is definitely disappointment.
