I wanted one of these Cosmos S cases, but finally opted for the cheaper CM690. I may take some picks of my upgrade, if you guys want to see them. Cooler Master sure has a great line of affordable quality products. Para |

You should have looked at the 590. It is a far better layed out and built case than the 690. But I agree, Coolermaster cannot be beat for the $$$ : quality ratio. I used to be the Antec 900's biggest fan until I got this 590. Even the NZXT Tempest is a far better case than the 900 (all 3 are cheaper than the 900 too). As for the Cosmos S, I also had this case to play with. If you have an EATX setup with dual high end GFX cards, I can't think of a better case to use. It definitely is a great case for those that need a small bus parked beside/on their desk.

I think I've fallen for the Cosmos S. Looks like a really nice case, though a bit pricey for my tastes. Seems like it would be a good investment though.

I'll put it to you this way. I currently have the Antec P190 chassis sitting here. Al 60lbs of it. The Cosmos S is larger and weighs 30lbs empty. It is a real beauty. Definitely worth the premium if you want a really large and light case.

Do you guys know anything about a possible side window for this instead of the fan? Would love to showcase that beauty stuff inside you know. The only place I know is the coolermaster.nl store and some place down in the states....Is it easy to take that fan off the side window at all? Not interested in doing it myself lol doesn't look easy!!!

Can't say I've ever seen that for sale even on the Coolermaster site. I suppose you could drop them an e-mail and ask them if they could sell you one, or just keep your eyes open for somebody who opts to replace their normal case side with the windowed one. Won't be me though.... I want the big honking fan and I'm not going to sacrifice cooling for a side window. (Would be cool though if they came up with a case side that incorporated both the fan and a window... :) ).

hello very nice setup and just what I was looking for, A couple of questions though are the fans pushing air up from inside case out or from out of the case into it You have fitted 6 fans right ? The barbs are 90° or straight as i can't see them in the photos thanks |

Just so you know alot of people including me are having issues with that large side fan imploding and shedding fan blades, the result is quite dramatic with blades being thrown around inside the case. No damage occured when it happened to me thankfully. But Coolermaster are issuing me with an updated fan including a guard.
