Much better fit between the Gigabyte DQ6 heatsink on the Cosmos S and the lower rad fan than there was on the Cosmos 1000 with the Asus Formula Maximus.

Heh..... even with the rad installed internally up top, a normal ATX motherboard looks like a mATX in this case...... :) (Until the PSU goes in on the bottom at least).

Currently Leak testing and getting the air out of the loop.

Tomorrow will be mounting the PSU and cable routing.

Very nice Steve,

You have pretty much sold me on the S as my next case.

Yeah, pictures do not do justice to the size of this beast. I'm glad they switched to aluminum for most of the Cosmos S, the Cosmos 1000 without the water in it is silly heavy, and this one isn't much better.

On another note......

I flashed up the 6 yate loons, and they're not too loud for me (I'm partially deaf though.... :) ). Upside is that I can feel air moving over 3' above the case.... :)

That rad rits very nicely compared to my Cosmos 1000. I love my case but the cable thing in the back was a pain in the butt until I figured out there wasn't enough room to route the cables over those bars in the back of the case. My 2x120 swiftech rad fits fine up-top but I haven't tried to do that push/pull configuration like you, I just have two fans on the inside of the case pushing air through the rad. Nicely done!

Yeah, the Cosmos 1000 was designed to hold both 120mm or 140mm fans up top, so you can only get one fan lined up.

This is what I ended up with using one of the swiftech res/rads (the quad xeon for this build should be in today so I can get the WC completed).

I've mentioned it in another thread, but it's worth putting the info in here for comparison between the 1000 and the S that I was only able to fit a single fan on the bottom, but I'll have to revisit that and verify that the fans won't fit on top.
