Do you keep your Side Panel on?

Always on, but I only purchase cases with side fans these days.... ;)

For me it depends on the fan arrangement. I have 3x140mm gelid wings blasting air across my 4P folder and the side panel acts as a sort of duct to help direct it accross the board to the back. It is then pulled out the back of the case by a 140mm fan on the rear exhaust and another nestled into the pci slots. Without the side panel the intake air would just blow out the open side and not blow over the components.

Mine is off more then on at this point as im always tinkering and checking my loop for any sign of leakage still. It's always off on my POS dell system which at this point is stripped of all but the skeleton of its former case. Once i'm done tinkering I'll probably put it back on my main rig..

What's the point of having a nice case with great cooling design if you're not going to use it like intended. Plus I have a cat, so...you know.

When I was folding with my GX2's, the cats would huddle behind my 3 cases to stay warm in the basement. Had to leave the panels on otherwise I'd find the cats trying to climb into the GX2's lol.

on and its on top off desk. to much dust and room is dust mine to should realy clean up . :)

Always on, Need the 200mm fan in the side of my HAF X to help cool the 570sli. Side fan helps a lot!

My computer's side panel is always on except when I am replacing a broken part or upgrading a part. My main work computer's side panel is always on. My test system at work doesn't have the side panels on because I am constantly testing and debugging the Linux driver for the latest AMD graphic cards.
