Caselabs Cases Any fellow Canadians order a Caselabs case? Just wondering how the shipping/customs/duty came out to? What courier was it shipped through? Debating whether this is worth the trouble. |

Thanks, I asked him in that thread. Really wanting a black TH10! |
Just received my TH10, it was about approx $175 FedEx to Toronto area and around $60 in duty and taxes. Typical for US imports. However shipping was amazing, shipped Friday, arrived Monday! Not a cheap case but Caselabs are totally in a class all their own! I used to buy regular cases, even considered the new CM Cosmos II, but could not stand the way the doors open backwards and so little room inside for a $400 plus tax case! I'll post pics later when I have some time. Worth the trouble? Oh hell yes. Jim is amazingly friendly and the cases are second to none. My six year old was able to climb inside and close the MB door!!!!! Cheers Tim |
hello I was just at Caselabs Web site trying to place an order for Delivery> Any one know if they deliver to Canada? every time i try to make place an order i receive a Message that Caselabs cannot ship some items in my cart to My shipping address/Destination< BC Canada:canadianwave:. Magnum SMH10. |
i have a Caselabs M8 and couple of accessories for any international orders, you need to make a screenshot of your shopping cart and send it by email to cs@caselabs.net with shipping method they will send you a quote for shipping and if you want place the order, for me i used paypal and the shiping was $102 by canada post (usps) to Moncton, New Brunswick and around 90$ for taxes and duty |
Asked for a quote like this week for a Merlin SM8... and beside the price of the case, here's the shipping charges alone (i will need to pay extra custom & duties i guess) International orders need to be processed manually, so please let me know what you would like (a screenshot of the shopping cart is fine) and we can email you an invoice through PayPal. A PayPal account is not required, but I will need to know what email address you would like to use. Lead times are normally 3-4 business days. Shipping/Handling: $115 via USPS either flat-packed or fully assembled or $105 flat-packed and $145 fully assembled via FedEx Economy - These charges do not include taxes or duties; the customer is responsible for those charges. Customs officials assess duties and taxes based on information provided on the air waybill, the Commercial Invoice and other relevant documents. SO i would expect somewhere between 50 and 90 for the custom and duties... which would bring it to around 650$ for the case. |
if you can still use USPS as the courier, then choose it. UPS will r*pe and pillage you with their duties. I reluctantly paid 100% duty on a 35 dollar item one with ups. :angry2: |
with Fedex, add a $ 50-60 just for the broker charge, Canada post charge $ 5-7 for it. ( they have a line where it pass from 5 to 7, I don't remember the amount) |
