I had mine for 2 weeks then sold it. cooling was great, just felt cramped, and not enough space behind the Motherboard tray, felt cheap too with the HDD Sleds(these didn't even lock) and other plastic parts.

Yes and it might come with USB 3.0 front ports too. Which is great because that's over $100 of HW that most FT02 owners don't have as that was added in much later.

These and a few other design restrictions are why I swapped my FT02 for a Cosmos 2. I had no issues with the plastic though as I found the FT02 build quality to be excellent it's just not a roomy case and bad for people who use inelegant cable management (like me!).

Cool, thanks for the quick answers.

Some are saying it is cramped.

I have a Rampage 2 Extreme / GTX570 and 2 SSD / 1 HDD.

It should fit fine, yes ?

Yes it will fit EATX boards and GPUs of any length.

There is only 1 SSD mount the other will need a solution IE tape it ontop of the HDD or another HDD sled.

THREAAADDD NECRRO!!!

Missed my old FT02B-W (window). Picked up a FT02B (no window) locally last night.

My old case had AP181s, but no USB 3.0:

Compared to that old version:

+ Panel Screws have rubber o-rings now to prevent over-tightening leading to paint damage
+ HDD drive cages have revised rubber mounts that are not prone to falling out / warping from tightening
+New ones come with USB 3.0, obviously

- AP181s were changed to have a solid channel between screw mounting points, preventing the use of cable ties to tidy cables without breaking out the dremel (think Gentle Typhoon). This really has nothing to do with the FT02 per se, but still, I hadn't realized that when working with my newer revision TJ08-E since it wouldn't have come up.

Swapping from the tiny NZXT S340 back to this monolithic case was humorous, I'll say.

I've always wanted one of these. The new FT05 is dead sexy too.

Other then being overly huge, I still love mine, been running with a 2x180 rad setup since forever too.

It's been a weird journey. FT02 --> TJ08E --> Midi Arc R2 --> SG07 --> NCASE M1 ---> TJ08E #2 --> S340 --> FT02.

Initially I picked this case up to do some modding in the future, but I figured what the hell, lets reuse it now. Might run a a 2x180 setup myself in the future, so that it's easily swappable to the FT05 in the future.. but on that note:

The situation regarding the FT05 irks me. I really like the case. It's prototype actually featured AP182s, but those were later changed to AP181's with the stated reason of hitting the cheaper $180 USD price point (The FT02 was a $250ish msrp case). Unfortunately such as things are here in Canada (exchange rate, supply, etc), we are still seeing a $240-250 pricetag on this case. When pitted against a $100 FT02 that was essentially in immaculate condition, there's no contest, despite my "the smallest case possible to do get the job done" philosophy.

Maybe in the future...

Let me know if you want a 3x180 Magicool, I've got one in the garage that came out of my RV02.
