I personally love it.
If you get the case, you're obviously going to sleeve the shit out of your cables. This could be a very interesting cable management option (creating rear shrouds) all the while giving you the option to show the effort you put into sleeving them, while keeping them neat and offering some minor hints of case branding.
I think its genius. But then again, I drink the coolaid.

Hmmm interesting indeed. I guess you could always get a non-windowed panel if your cables sucked. Heh

It isn't the sleeving I am worried about. Doing cable management on your cable management is a lot of work. Plus windows on both sides look kind of goofy. Although if you look at that pic, there are no holes in the motherboard tray.

I am guessing around the 1K mark. With my Pioneer BD writer he bought for me and coated and Slight panel it was more than 1K. That didnt have a SSD tray and I am sure the MKII will.

Edit: But I forgot that included shipping.

You got to take in to account that a some (a lot I am guessing) of the parts are coming directly from Silverstone now. Before you had to pay for the TJ07 then pay to modify it. Definitely shouldn't be that much this time around.
