He definitely has been working w/ Silverstone directly. A lot of the pieces are supposedly done by Silverstone themselves. Hopefully enough of the parts are done by them to keep costs down.

As for drive bays, I personally hate them. The only time I ever use them is for a pump reservoir in tiny little systems.

Pretty sure there is an option for a slot loading drive on the top of the case. One of the older teaser pics showed this.

When I had the chance to meet Charles around 18 months ago, he was already working on custom case ideas and mentioned then that he had been talking to some manufacturers about producing them. It's great to see it come to fruition for him. He's one of the nicest individuals you'll ever have the chance to talk to. He even lent me a 6/32 tap for a few days so I could get my Murdermod build together.

So is he betting the farm on this? Because I don't see any of his very popular cables, etc anymore.

Well, murdermod cables were basically the Canadian arm of MDPC-X, so you can still purchase the sleeve from there, and the color selection and quality is second to none. but be prepared to pay for it. lol

I'm really looking forward to seeing what he has planned.
Apparently its the MKII case and something like 40+ skus to turn your TJ07 into a MKII.
But I'm not going to comment further.

Charles I'm sure will pop in here when hes ready to make an announcement :D

For you guys that want a little something to tide you over,

It likely won't be. The case just isn't big enough.

- The case is manufactured by silverstone, to their request.
- There is a disc drive. It's a slot loading one in the top where the middle line continues
- Price has not been confirmed for these MK-II
- The "murderMod" name is done. Retired.
- There will be a fair difference between a full MK-II, and a user "modded" one
