AMG, I do not know what to do :( Corsair 600t or Raven?

So, heres whats up, bought my Corsair 600t about 2 monts ago, cant realy say ive regretted it although i realy expected the cooling to be better. Yes I could go and slap 4 120 on the side of the case but then id end up with a lot of dust and well id lose my side window :(

So I started looking around for sexy cases with nice airflow and the raven RV03 really cought my eye.
Plus well im running a GTX570 DirectCU(the 3 slotter monsters that hang since there so heavy) so the altered ATX position would help quite a bit.

What do I do, I feel like selling the 600t is going to be a massive pain in Montreal area :(

I say go for it, I love the raven series cases and you're right, the PCI slots being positions at the top will vastly help your video card.

I have the 600t as well, and it's better to switch your fans orientation when you have a gpu cooler that radiate heat back into the case instead of straight out the back. My top 200 fan is my main intake, and the front 200 is my exhaust. I've tested the back 120 in both configuration and haven't found it to make any difference, but my temps did go down by 2-3c with changing the 200's. It ran fine for me, having 6870 x2, but i was running in the mid 70's. So i added 2 fans on the side mesh panel and temps went down by another 4-5c. Since you only have 1 card, I don't see it being a problem, cuz it was fine for me with 1 6870, it was still fine with the xfire, but i just wanted lower temps.

The Raven is a good case however, so if you're not happy with the 600t, might as well switch :)

The 600T have qite a decent airflow, and yes selling this case is a pain. I have one that is laying here BNIB sealed for about 2 month and it's impossible to sell it.

aside from mounting the hdd's does it serve any other function? can it be removed?

yes It can, its only held on by screws, and as an update, i went ahead and got a Silverstone FT02 in black :D

I can tell you that you will lose acoustically with the louder Raven, but once you see how much the temperatures of your GPU(s) drop you won't regret it.

nice choice though i think you should have opted for the rv02-E.
its slightly bigger and the hd bays are turned sideways for access. complaints about the ft o2 and the rv 02
were about video cards hitting the hard drives once mounted. your monster video card might make for some headaches
