CM 690 ii advanced airflow

Hey guys I'm thinking of getting a 690 ii and have a question about airflow. I was thinking of getting two of the stock 140mm front fan for exhaust at the top. I was also going to buy the side window and put a 120mm fan on it. Would the side fan disrupt any airflow? If not, can you recommend any fans to use for the side that isn't a gentle typhoon :P. Thanks!

I've got the 690 II Advanced and have two of the stock 140mm fans in the top. I've just got the normal side panel, and two more of the stock 140mm fans on that and have no issues with cooling. My only complaint about the fans on the side panel is that there are no bloody dust filters. Not sure if the windowed side panel comes with one or not.

It comes with one 140mm fan at the top already, so you'd only need one more. And let me know if you can find the window side panel in stock, post a link.

I found the panel on tiger direct right here. Buy the RA-692-KWN1 CM690 II Transparent Side Window at TigerDirect.ca I was going to get 2 blu led fans for the top because it should light up too :P

I bought two extra CM R4 140mm Blue fans which I have at the top of the case for exhaust. I use one 140mm fan that came with the case at the bottom as an intake plus the other CM R4 140mm as intake at the front of the case. I have two Cm R4 120's in PP on my noctua and 1 CM R4 120 as exhaust at rear. somethin smells funny! I just recently purchased the oem windowed side panel and I have another CM R4 120 as intake there. This does keep my video card cooler. I'll past pics later of window.

You can do that? I thought the bottom only supported 120mm fans?

Thank you, I'd forgotten about them. I have been looking, even Coolermaster doesn't have them in stock.

It supports 1 140 or 2 120's. Depends on length of power supply.
