Default Budget Case for XFX 6950 2gb card

I just picked up an xfx 6950 on the ncix deal. Apparantly it's 11.3" long.

I was looking at the Antec 300 case, but need to know if it will fit.. can't seem to find conclusive evidence.

Anyone have suggestions on a case that fits this beast?

The HAF series should fit this card no problem, I know the 922 will..

i agree. i have been using the CM 692 since it first came out, and have been in love with it since. Its fairly small on the outside but has tonnes of space on the inside for really anything you throw at it. I have watercooling setup for my CPU, two drives, 11.5" long card installed with lots of room to spare, its got great cooling options with i think 11 fans to be installed and the price is perfect!

+1 for CM

Another +1 for the 692. I personally love the look.

However, if cost is a factor, the HAF 912 for $50 would be a better option if you can stand the looks. Much better case overall and will fit that xfx card
With the 300, it says max length is 11" cards on the antec website so it won't fit if the xfx is actually 11.3.

If it's the CNFC, the actual length is 10.2. It seems that ncix just puts 11.5 for all their cards which is incorrect. A 300 will fit it without a problem

If you want to double check, look up your card number and match it up with the info on the xfx page.

step 1 - buy 912
step 2 - remove extra hard drive bay
step 3 - install card and
step 4 - look at how much space you got in there for
step 5 - so little :)

^-- what he said

i have a 912. it can handle 6 internal hard-drive, however the one rack can be taken out for longer video cards
the bottom rack holds 2 drives. plus you can put 2 SSD in, in another bottom mounted rack

look up the review on HWC, shows you how it works

with the rack in, supports 10.3 inches only
without 15.4 inches
